April 2021
  • The Standards have been overhauled to provide a more flexible and cost-effective method of reporting Web and App activity. This includes a change in the mandatory metric, the ability to report multiple websites on a single certificate and a greater focus at audit on the analytics solution used to report data.
October 2020
  • The responsibility for AV and Ad Web Traffic metrics has been transferred from JICWEBS to ABC.

August 2018
  • Web Traffic: Breaking out automated traffic becomes optional, for certificates of two months or more the domain/inventory listing is only reported for the final month. See relevant sector (e.g. National Newspapers for details of the change)
December 2016
  • Frequency of reporting: Products must be certified at least every 12 months

  • Weekly Unique Browsers (optional): The designated reporting week may be varied from the default (Monday to Sunday) with ABC's agreement. For example Sunday to Saturday.

  • Device Type reporting (optional): Greater flexibility introduced with an 'other' category and ability for more detailed breakouts.
